What is Rising Sword?
Rising Sword is a story that I have been working on since I started drawing more than 3 years ago. It is a fantasy manga set in a magical medieval world. The story is still incomplete. So far I only have the beginning.
This blog will contain everything on Rising Sword as it progresses. There will be character sketches, concepts, stories, bios, and more.
Here’s a synopsis.
In the world of Rising Sword, there are seven elemental kingdoms (light, dark, life, fire, ice, wind, earth).
Serenity Lavendia, the sixteen year old Princess of the Dark Kingdom has been living a peaceful life with her father. One night, her kingdom is attacked by a mysterious knight. The knight quickly obliterates everything in his path and heads for the throne room. Before the knight is able to reach Serenity, her father uses a teleportation magic on her. Serenity is teleported out of the castle.
Serenity finds herself in Emera forest, the Life Kingdom’s largest forest. There, she is ambushed by trolls because of her smell and attractiveness. Right before the trolls attack her, Serenity faints. Being able to sense her life force fading, Melon and Zeal, the Elite knights of the Life Kingdom, quickly appears and saves Serenity.
Serenity is brought to the Life Kingdom. There she meets Lily, Princess of the Life Kingdom. From this day on, Serenity’s life will never be the same…….
